The Temple Mount in Jerusalem

Day 1-3

JERUSALEM – FROM INSIDE OUT, FROM PAST TO PRESENT

Each day will start with Yoga class and breakfast and continue with a fully guided tour of Jerusalem and its most important sights including:

The Church of the Holy Sepulchre - The most famous church in the world . The Church is also known as the Church of the Resurrection or the Church of Anastasis. The site is known as the place where Jesus Christ was crucified and buried.

Via Dolorosa - Via Dolorosa (meaning the Way of Sorrows) is located in Jerusalem’s Old City and is believed to be the very path along which Jesus walked as he approached his crucifixion.

The Western Wall - Considered one of the holiest sites in Judaism, the Western Wall is located in the Jewish Quarter of Jerusalem’s Old City. The wall is in fact a remnant of a retaining wall that once surrounded the Second TemWestern Walple of Jerusalem and is considered holy due to its connection to the destroyed Temple.

Tower of David and Citadel - Located in the Old City of Jerusalem near to the Jaffa Gate, the Tower of David and Citadel has, for centuries, symbolized the city’s famous skyline.

Mishkenot Sha'ananim - the first Jewish neighborhood built outside the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem, on a hill directly across from Mount Zion.

Mehane Yehuda Market – In the heart of Jerusalem lies the Mahane Yehuda Market, a bustling marketplace that manages to incorporate the ambience and authenticity of yesteryear Jerusalem with the last word in modern culinary establishments.

The Israel Museum - Hailed as one of the world’s leading art and archaeology museums, the Israel Museum in Jerusalem boasts over half a million objects relating to the Bible, Jewish life, archaeology in the Holy Land and local and international art.

Masada Fortress near the Dead Sea

Day 4- THE DEAD SEA & MASADA

Masada is not only important because it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site or an ancient fortress occupying a breathtaking, strategic location high on a flat plateau above the Dead Sea, but because of its symbolic importance of determination and heroism which continues to this day with many Israeli soldiers sworn in here.

After a visit to the stunning fortress, we will float in the dead sea, one of the natural wonders of the world.

The Dead Sea is a place you must visit at least once in your lifetime. This unique spot is the lowest place on earth and combines turquoise waters with majestic sand-colored hills all around them. The mineral-infused mud of the Dead Sea and its ultra-salty waters are known for their healing properties, and many people visit the place for the purpose of improving various skin conditions.
